At Beacon Consulting Associates, we assist clients to reduce costs and improve the productivity and efficiency of their business. 

A Cost Reduction and Productivity Improvement engagement begins with a thorough review of the business or specific area within the business. Our review can involve all areas of the business, including manufacturing operations, service operations, administrative, clerical and accounting functions, and sales and marketing efforts. Our review typically takes from one to two weeks and our findings and recommendations are presented both orally and in writing. Our recommendations are specific and achievable. We include estimated time frames and required investment, if any, to achieve the recommended cost savings and productivity improvements. 

After our recommendations are accepted by management, we will implement those recommendations and deliver the cost reductions and productivity improvements. We are hands-on. We design and develop new processes and procedures, train client personnel, and stay with the effort until the results are achieved.

Our first consultation is at no charge. If we are selected to assist you in your efforts to reduce costs and improve productivity, we begin with a planning meeting at which we determine your areas of concern and your objectives. We then prepare a realistic time plan to complete our initial review and report back to you with our findings and recommendations. After you have accepted our recommendations, we then implement and achieve the cost reductions and productivity improvements. 

We work to your budget. Frequently, we can hold the costs within a budget by having client personnel assist with analyses and other related data gathering. We charge by the hour.
